Psalm 138 — Lectio Divina
Read: Read Psalm 138. Read a second time, highlighting or writing the words or phrases that speak particularly to you in your current situation.
Meditate: Repeat several times the words or phrases you highlighted. Write them on your heart, listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Pray: Using the words of the Psalm, praise God for the goodness and faithfulness you have experienced in your life and observed in the lives of those around you. Pray for the courage to live in the knowledge of these faithful promises.
Contemplate: Consider how your life might be different if you could act boldly knowing and truly believing that God will work out the plans prepared for you. Move in your world today unafraid, knowing that you belong to God.
